Shaft Encoder: 8 counts per rotation; not the best resolution, but it will work for my purposes
Encoder Output: This is the output from my ghetto rotary encoder on an oscilloscope that was made the same year I was born. It was quite difficult to get the screen in focus, but you get the idea. Every peak is where the encoder passed through the photogate. Unfortunately the voltage rise is less than 1 volt, so I am forced to make an amplifier circuit. Pics as that happens :)
Fire Arms: Mixing hydraulics and fire; counter-intuitive, but some great results
Shooting Rope: That’s a standard nylon rope they’re shooting out of the bicycle wheel. Oh, physics.
